James Corden returns to Doctor Who alongside Matt Smith this Saturday as the Doctor’s former flatmate, Craig. And in an interview with the two in Radio Times, Corden reveals he’d love to be involved in a musical episode of Doctor Who.
“I didn’t watch [Doctor Who] when I was young because I have two sisters, so we watched Grease, week in, week out,” says Corden.
And he reckons another high-school musical phenomenon should be the inspiration for an all-singing, all-dancing episode of Doctor Who.
“A Glee episode of Doctor Who would be amazing. In fact, why haven’t they done that? Amy Pond and the Doctor doing Summer Nights would be amazing.”
