David Tennant Returns to BBC America in Dramaville’s ‘The Spies of Warsaw’
For those of you who may not have seen the announcement earlier this year:

Allons-y! BBC America has just announced that David Tennant, the beloved former Doctor Who star, will return to our screens in their new co-production, The Spies of Warsaw, a four-part period miniseries for the channel’s Dramaville block. Entourage‘s Janet Montgomery has been tapped as his co-star. Based on Alan Furst‘s acclaimed spy novel, The Spies of Warsaw will be set against a European backdrop in the years prior to World War II, as German and French intelligence officers are locked in a life-and-death struggle in the espionage arena.
Tennant will play Colonel Jean-Francois Mercier, an aristocrat and military attaché at the French Embassy in Warsaw who is drawn into the world of betrayal, abduction, and intrigue, and Montgomery plays his love interest, a Parisian lawyer for the League of Nations. The pair embark on a passionate yet complicated affair that becomes more heated as German tanks roll into the Black Forest. Shooting will start in Poland next month. The ensemble cast including Burn Gorman (Torchwood, The Hour), Anton Lesser (The Hour), Richard Lintern (White Heat), Dan Fredenburgh (The Bourne Ultimatum), Ludger Pistor (Casino Royale), Ann Eleonora Jørgensen (The Killing), and Jan Pohl (Captain America: The First Avenger).
