I was catching up on Doctor Who Confidential and spotted this gem. (Ignore the hilarious face Matt Smith is giving in this screen cap. )

This is why I love this show. Because this particular show is not made by just anyone, it’s made by its fans. Not just the writers and directors, like Steven Moffat, etc, but the production assistants, the director of photography, even the people who get the tea…a lot of them grew up with this show and care about this show, which makes it THAT much more special. Doctor Who: for Whovians, by Whovians.
