50 Days of Doctor Who 50th: November 22: Doctor Who?
↳ The First times the words were ever uttered.
Episode two of the serial An Unearthly Child. Most people coin Ian as the first person to ask the question, but it was actually William Hartnell that first uttered those words. Those tiny, yet dangerous words, that would survive the cosmos, and possibly even the End of Time.
November 22: Doctor Who?
And his 4 siblings: Doctor What, Doctor When, Doctor Where, and Doctor Why

November 21: What do you think will happen during the DW50th?
Insane amounts of comoradary between Ten and Eleven. Some confusion of Rose over Eleven. Epics scenes and possibly a few speeches.
Yes, it will be awesome.
Nope. It’s not even gonna happen so I’m not even giving you an idea. Because it’s not gonna happen. The Christmas special is a lie.
I’m not in denial at all
I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.
Sarah Jane Smith:
I’m assuming she’s still investigating unusual alien activity with those kids. And you never know, the doctor might pop by again to help out
Day 47 (Nov. 19th): Pick a companion that is no longer travelling with the Doctor. Where do you think they are now?
I’m actually gonna pick two.
I bet Martha Jones and Mickey Smith are still together defending the Earth. The reason they ended up together was because they each loved someone who didn’t love them back. They talk about the Doctor from time to time: the fun they had, the emotional roller coasters they went through, and the ways the Doctor gave them better lives and helped them discover their true purposes.
Name a minor character that you’d like to see return.
Rita Afzal, from “The God Complex”. The best companion who never was.
Well, I’m not all that sure how minor he really is, per se, since he is a pretty important guy. He has shown up in only a single episode, so far, but I would absolutely love to see the return of Emperor Ludens Nimrod Kendrick Cord Longstaff the 41st, Defender of Humanity, Imperator of Known Space. Otherwise known as Porridge.
I have a couple things (posters, books, pins, etc.) but my favorite? That comes down to two things:
1. My TARDIS slippers
2. My new coffee cup
Well, I have a lot of store bought Doctor Who merch, but the thing that I love the most is this amazing Tardis spice rack that my Dad made for me.
He’s always been a massive Doctor Who fan and we used to watch the classic series together when I was a kid. He loves the new series too, and is so excited that I’m a fan as well.
So it’s the hand made stuff like this that I love, and that means the most to me.
I last watched “Serenity”
I think pretty much any of the characters would be awesome companions! I think it would be hysterical to see the Doctor try to stop Jayne from killing things, or see him react to River’s nonsense when she’s not so coherent. If River were a companion, I think Simon would have to be with her, and he’s such a proper uptight Doctor I think the dynamic between the three of them would be…. FANTASTIC.
The last movie I saw was “Gravity.” Absolutely, I think Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) would make good companion. She’s already got the spacesuit!
- November 15: If you could have your memory erased of any episode so you could watch it again like it was new, which episode would it be?
This is a tough one. I guess The Shakespeare Code because that was the first one I saw and it was just so amazing. I know that’s not such a plot heavy one, but I just remember how magical it was, and how much it made me fall in love with the show.
November 15: If you could have your memory erased of any episode so you could watch it again like it was new, which episode would it be?
I wish I could do this with all the episodes. It would be so great to get to watch the show for the first time again and fall in love with it all over again.
But okay, one episode. I’ll choose ‘Dalek’. Because this was the episode when I first met a Dalek. And I fell completely in love with it. I wish I could experience that again, it was a big moment.
