We’ve been sending out so many Whovian party packs recently we were wondering if the universe was going to send us something in return, and LOOK WHAT MATERIALIZED AT THE BBC AMERICA OFFICE TODAY! A TARDIS, specifically the very first TARDIS Matt Smith used as the Eleventh Doctor!!!!!!!

We will treasure it dearly and promise not to use it to fast forward to November 23rd or use it to get to work on time when we oversleep.

*I’m sorry, I’m so sorry that I’m just now posting these pictures, but you should take my URL quite literally*

*sorry for my cheesy smile face. it happens when I’m about to explode from happiness*

I got my package from the DW tumblr last Friday and I just want to say THANK YOU to every single person there because you guys took the time to HAND-WRITE A PAGE LONG MESSAGE (mentioning my english teacher omg he loved it thank you) AND SEND ALL THIS STUFF AND THANK YOU BECAUSE I WAS FEELING A LITTLE GLUM THAT DAY BUT THEN I GOT THIS IN THE MAIL SO THANK YOU SO MUCH.

*I gave my english teacher one of the balloons because he’s the reason I started watching DW and he’s super awesome*

*but all the other stuff I’m keeping*

*sorry not sorry*

We’ve been celebrating the Doctor Who 50th all year with you on the Doctor Who TumblrClassic Who, New Who, Episodes, Doctors, Companions, Fans, and Creators.

Together we’ve celebrated a Doctor a Month and rejoiced in a new season (7.2) and a new companion (Clara Oswin Oswald).

We’ve witnessed the announcement of a new Doctor and seen the triumphant return of missing episodes.

We held the 50th-themed Doctor Who Fan Meetup at San Diego Comic Con, and have reveled in the imagination of your 50 Days of Doctor Who 50th posts.

Everything we’ve done together all year — all of this — has been in anticipation of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Weekend. And now we’re just about here.

Thanks for the big blue envelope, Adipose! Here I’ve gone against what everyone has told me and did an ‘unboxing’ vid.

Between Doctor Who, 1D, Catching Fire, the new season of My Little Pony, the new Zelda game, Miley Cyrus’ birthday, and the Food Network Thanksgiving 2-Hour Live Special, there are a whole lot of fandoms that will be active this weekend.
As we’ve said before, to us, this Saturday is Fandom Day.
Whovians more than anyone, understand that time and space are infinite. If you’re a fan of any of these other things, a member of any other fandom, we think that that’s great.
We’ll be celebrating ‘The Day of the Doctor’. Starting with the preshow at 2.15pm ET on YouTube, moving to BBC America on TV at 2.30pm and at 2.50pm ET we’ll be watching the global simulcast.

Thank you SO SO SO SO much Doctor Who Tumblr! I was having a stressful day but then I got this in the mail! IT MADE ME SO HAPPY!!! You guys are wonderful!

We’re kicking off Doctor Who Week at BBCAmerica, so we had to get a lil bit bigger to handle all of the AWESOME!

minivinnie said: What should I do? I have tickets to the Day of the Doctor screening on Monday, November 25th, but I also have BBC America to watch it on Saturday. Should I see it live with everyone else and just have a heighted experience of it in 3D on Monday OR should I lock myself in a room from Saturday to Monday trying to avoid spoilers to see it for the first time in theaters Monday?

We’re doing the “Watch Several Times on Saturday AND Then Again on Monday” option because why not?
