And while it shouldn’t come as a surprise after reading their answers, Matt and Jenna have a lot of love the fandom on Tumblr — they actually stayed way late just to be able to get a few more answers in when they were supposed to leave for their next official thing. What would the main focus be? (e.g., Cats, Socks, Bowties…)
JENNA: I’d like to do a photography Tumblr. Or I’d like to do one about anything that inspires you during the day. Like pictures, or a poem, or a little quote or a thought. I do have loads of quote books and things I read.
MATT: My best friend Alex Bond because he is an extraordinary human being.
Matt, do you ever get weirded out or overwhelmed by the fan following?
MATT: No! Because it’s what makes the show special and we LOVE the fans.
Matt, in your opinion who is the greatest football player ever?
MATT: Can I give you my top 5 though? In no particular order:
Ronaldo — there’s two Ronaldos, there’s the Brazilian and the Portuguese.
First of all, I need a few minutes to cry about how wonderful doctor who is, and the doctor who tumblr team. I don’t know who you are, but you people are AMAZING and i can never thank you guys enough for giving the fans the opportunity to have a Who&A!!!
Matt: A lot of people (myself included) say that doctor who has changed their life, by opening their mind to new possibilities and expanding their beliefs in what is possible within our universe. How has being on the show affected your beliefs about the world and the importance of humanity in all of time and space?
MATT: Yeah, it’s really encouraged an interest in science—genuinely—and thinking in a scientific way. I read a lot about Einstein, Richard Dawkins, and all that sort of stuff. And I love the idea and notion of time travel. I think it’s magic! It’s got me thinking about it a lot. And the morality of The Doctor is a great benchmark for anyone.

Hello, Matt and Jenna!
Firstly, I have to say how inspiring you both are to me and thank you for that.
I have a question for both of you to answer, too:
As you know, a lot of us are part of the Doctor Who fandom. Do either of you have any ‘fandoms’ you feel passionately about?
MATT: Yeah, Blackburn Rovers. Breaking Bad. Walking Dead. You know, and movies. Movies, movies, movies.
JENNA: Yeah, Breaking Bad. [I’m] just getting back to watching films.
When you were younger did either of you have imaginary friends? If so, what sorts of adventures did you go on/pretend to have?
MATT: Yes, I had an imaginary kangaroo friend called Roo.
JENNA: Awww!
MATT: I was very clumsy and I used to break things and my mum went, you know, “Who’s done that?” And I would say, “It’s the kangaroo!” I was only three. [JENNA laughs] Honestly, swear to God! I had an imaginary friend called Roo. [To JENNA] Did you have one?
JENNA: Nah, I didn’t but I wish I did.
MATT: Hey, come hang out with Roo anytime.
