Moriarty (according to the doctor). I think I prefer Sherlock’s version.

Shut up, I’m making deductions. It’s very exciting.

Steven Moffat Talks Doctor Who, Sherlock -- Vulture

Amy and Rory are gone, the Doctor is considering retirement, the new companion bears an uncanny resemblance to a dead Dalek, and evil snowmen are on the loose — now what? With less than a week until the Doctor Who Christmas special (airing December 25 at 9 on BBC America, sans Ponds, sniff), Vulture rang up series boss Steven Moffat with all our burning questions, and boy did he oblige. He spills on what’s next (the Doctor on a submarine!), why he doesn’t believe his version of Who is all that complicated, and how it would be “intolerable” for David Yates to bring the Tardis to the big-screen. Of course, we threw in a question about the delay to Sherlock. Read on to see why he pretty much told us to keep calm.

Read on, reader.

I made a thing…

This is perfect in so many ways.
Who are the Fandoms?
They’re online royalty.
If the internet was US Weekly they would always be on the cover.
That one there? That’s Supernatural. They’re one of the weirdest fandoms you will ever meet. Damian followed a Supernatural Blog last year…
They asked me how to spell “Wincest.”
And that little one? That’s Sherlock. They’re totally crazy because their show runner invented psychological torture. The Sherlockians know everybody’s business. They deduce everything about everyone.
That’s why their fanon’s so big. It’s full of deductions.
And fanaticism takes a virtual form in Doctor Who. Don’t be fooled, because they may seem like your typical ship-crazy, feels-having, Sci-fi fandom. But, in reality, they are so much more than that.
They’re the time lords. The stars. The other two are just their little workers.
