Expect to see video on the BBC America YouTube channel very soon!
Thanks to Anglophenia, we can now reveal some of the secrets shared during the Doctor Who panel yesterday at Comic-Con.
We would classify the spoilers in this post as ‘mild’ but spoilers are like spicy food: it’s all according to taste:
Let’s assume you missed Comic-Con this year, missed out on the panel starring Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner, missed out on their delightful exchanges with a thrilled audience, missed out on Matt Smith’s bowler hat, and are now feeling pretty fed up about the whole affair.
Well, the good news is we can at least tell you some of the things that were exclusively revealed there (and if you’re sly, you can always use them to pretend you were right at the front all along).
Your fellow Whovians have a message for you.
Success! I finally got one! Thanks, BBC America. I should take a picture of all my Doctor Who stuff I got this year. ;)
Ran into this awesome group of cosplayers from one of my favorite episodes :) (Season Two: The Girl in The Fireplace)
12 hours and and about a hundred dollars later, I have left Comic Con a happy Doctor Who nerd :) Thank you BBC America Booth, always my first stop at the Con.

For the second year running, there was a Whovian Sunday at San Diego Comic-Con. Sonic screwdriver-brandishing fans packed Hall H for a panel that featured Doctor Who‘s Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, lead writer/executive producer Steven Moffat, and executive producer Caroline Skinner. The atmosphere was as electric as panels past, with zings of oddball wit from überfan and moderator Chris Hardwick from The Nerdist.
But amongst all of the cheers and celebration, there was an inescapable feeling of sadness. After all, the upcoming season of Doctor Who will see the departure of the Doctor’s beloved companions the Ponds – played by Gillan and Darvill.
