Today I was packing up for school and there was this really nice-looking sophomore guy next to my locker and I wanted to engage in conversation with him because hey, I can actually be a social freshman but I didn’t want to seem rude or weird and he was watching something on his phone and I didn’t want to interrupt him.
But then I heard Matt Smith’s voice coming from the video. I can recognize that voice ANYWHERE.
And I realized that Pond Life was out and I hadn’t seen it yet and he was watching it.
So, again, working on the not-being-disruptive-thing I tried to peek over his shoulder to watch it. About halfway through, he must have gotten the gist of what I was doing because he lowered the phone down for me (I’m a midget).
It was brilliant. We were laughing and snorting at all the right parts, and all in all, it was amazingly fantastic.
And at the end he asked me if I watched Doctor Who.
To make a long story short, we are hoping to have a show marathon/Asylum of the Daleks screening party on Saturday. I think I’m really going to like high school this year…
