Day 4: Favorite Relationship on Doctor Who
Ten and Five
This mini-episode was so great. It blurred the lines between reality and the Doctor Who universe as Tennant really admired the Fifth Doctor (maybe because he was going to be his son-in-law. jk). But it’s one of those multi-Doctor things that kind of worked out in my opinion. It was a fun 8 minutes. It was hard to distinguish the Doctor talking to Five to Tennant talking to Five or Tennant talking to Davison. Davison was a good Doctor. Silly at times but I kind of enjoyed his episodes. Davison had some fun with the role and the Doctor’s personality was kind of enjoyable. To see the two Doctors interact without an hour-episode-long plot device was very appropriate and you get the sense how much Doctor Who can impact someone’s life, like Tennant’s. And to see the Doctor/Tennant fanboy on himself in the past/Davison is just great.
