me-cuz-im-awesome: Infinite like Pi

me-cuz-im-awesome:

The doctor said that the TARDIS was infinite, and I was just remembering recently I saw this thing about pi being infinite, and how everything that ever existed and ever will exist can be translated into numbers and be found in pi.

So I think in the TARDIS there would be this room of pi. Where the digits are spilling out of the walls and floating around, telling of the adventures of the doctor and his companions, going on and on for eternity.

brave warrior: My TARDIS room

mindpocket-in-a-box:

There’s a room in the bowels of the TARDIS, very near the Eye of Harmony that is nothing but space; an empty expanse that stretches as far as the eye can see. You need only have the full trust of the TARDIS in order to enter. Cool, red grass covers the ground and the faint outline of vermillion, snow capped mountains can be seen in the distance. Two suns hang in the sky, burning brightly against the orange sky. This room is the TARDIS’ real heart: not her mechanical center, but her biological core. It’s not only her memory, it’s her soul, and if you listen very carefully, you can hear a faint song on the synthetic breeze. This is the Song of Time; the Song of Life… The age-old song of the Universe. Notes and melodies blend into one another to form something so painfully and beautifully cohesive that listening tugs on a raw part of you that you never knew existed. It’s beautiful, it’s heartbreaking, it’s horrifying and it’s always in flux, just as life is ever-changing. This room is the past and the future, and it is home.

He’d HAVE to have a recording studio. Because how could he not? I’m sure he records demos when his companions aren’t with him. Or perhaps he records duets with River…

You guys rock.

The Library of Language

The Universe Room

The Companion Room

And their are propably others that I didn’t see, and I know this wasn’t a contest.

But you came up with a room. A room the writers of Doctor Who came up with.

Just…

Wow.

v0tesax0n:

My TARDIS

It looks like the ocean and is larger than large. There are tons of living fish and organisms .

However the water is from a distant planet .

When you try to get into the water, you can’t actually touch it.

You become surrounded by a film of air. Everything you would do is the same, you can swim and do sommer saults, and your hair reacts in the same way. Only you have oxygen, allowing you to breathe for hours . Its tons of fun, but its also as dangerous as the ocean is.

Thats my TARDIS !

ladytisane: TARDIS Room: The Catalogue of Language

ladytisane:

The TARDIS has an impeccable sense of timing, of humour, and of structure. She knows who and where and why and when, and though she has no voice of her own, she is a master of languages.

She keeps them tucked away, far down a corridor or five or six (depending on which way you are going, but always a sharp right past the swimming pool), and behind a great, heavy door. Upon that door is a symbol, a sign, a grouping of words etched in Gallifreyan. A warning? It depends on who you are.

She’ll let you in as long as you are curious.

Behind that door is a secret room, a large room, a beautiful room stacked floor to ceiling with row upon row of card catalogue shelves.  Inside each intricate drawer is a language. The card catalogues are tall and they are many, and are crafted of every resource imaginable, depending on the origins of the languages they contain.

This is the room that the TARDIS never translates, where every language is kept in its purest form. The evolution of every Germanic strand, the rise and the death of Latin, the intricacies of Sontaran, Sycorax, Silurian. Every language lost to time, every language yet to be spoken, every cave drawing of every creature that had a story to tell.

Everything as it is meant to be heard, as it is meant to be written, whispering always to the TARDIS: forever learning, and forever teaching.

The only language unlisted, unmentionable, unspeakable, is the language of the Silence. Silence, you see, is the end of all communication.

Which may be the reason why the warning on the door reads, “Please speak up.”

darth-victozard:

There has GOT to be a stage in the TARDIS. A big proscenium stage that can also be converted to a movie theater. The Doctor is a great actor. The stage must be where he rehearses his skills with his companions to keep those skills up and to pass the time (get it? Time?).

So the my TARDIS room.
I imagine the TARDIS has a room with the entire universe’s star map. It can zoom into certain galaxies and planets and act as an observatory.

egriz:

I’ve always thought that there is a calm place for the Doctor in the TARDIS. He probably couldn’t find it if he tried, but whenever he’s aimlessly wandering the halls fatigued and melancholy, he tends to stumble into it.  It is her way of helping, in between companions.
The room appears to be a garden with a personal universe. The planets hang in the air, and if you watch closely, you can see them orbiting. It’s quiet, and lit only by the local sun and the glow of some of the flora.
Though he tried to hide away after the loss of the Ponds, he always seemed to find himself in this room again. It’s never quite the same, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Creature Fear: I guess my tardis would be a montage of the things i’ve been seeing on...

waitingfortheseventhwave:

I guess my TARDIS would be a montage of the things i’ve been seeing on the internet. I imagine the TARDIS to have different rooms with different seasons so the Doctor’s human companion wouldn’t be too homesick.

Although, I could imagine the different impossible rooms that there could be.

I imagine the Doctor to have a room where it’s just nature. Where Rory and Amy could sometimes visit to feel outdoors-y. Glass tents like these:

image

image

but at nighttime, the sky in the room changes into projections of so many stars and galaxies

image

and sometimes the Doctor would count with his companions.

He would have movie nights with them and watch and enjoy the things made by humans. They’d have hundreds of fireflies roaming about to serve as their light. He’d have different plants from different planets. Although he’d have a special rose garden that Rose once helped in tending.

image

image

Although he’d also have a winter room, for when he feels lonely and cold. When he wants to be alone, he would contemplate here.

image

Although I imagine the TARDIS to have a room just like this:

image

It would always stun his companions. He’d love it here as well.

I know it’s mostly human but I figured that he’d love to have small replicas of earth inside his Tardis. He’d have places to make his companions feel at home and warm.
