He’s like fire and ice and rage. He’s like the night and the storm in the heart of the sun. He’s ancient and forever. He burns at the centre of time and can see the turn of the universe. And he’s wonderful.
Doctor Who: The Parting of the Ways
I’d like to introduce the first sort polished batch of my Doctor Whoodles (Doctor Who doodles)! I’ve made a few changes and am pretty happy with how they are shaping up.
Next up: Twelve, Amy Pond and River Song.
Favorite Doctor Who episodes: the Ninth Doctor → Bad Wolf
I keep hearing those words everywhere we go. Bad Wolf. Different times. Different places, like it’s written all over the Universe.
Doctor Who rewatch: Boom Town, 1.11
A tribute to my favourite Doctors.
So here are the three pieces I finished for Toronto Comicon this past Sunday! I’m really happy with the way they turned out and they were a big hit! It’s so amazing to go to cons and meet so many people who love the same things you do as much (if not more!) than you do! <3 Stay tuned - I will be finishing a much bigger who piece to debut in the New Year!
reblogging for the day crew!
"Oh David you’re too big to carry around."
Of all the jobs Rose had had over the years since she started her little babysitting business, Idris’s kids were by far her favorites. Chris always insisted that, being 10, he was too old for a baby sitter but he’d always find his way into the living room and into their little games. Davie was a sweetheart but had a penchant for taking things apart. Rose had learned very quickly to keep any electronic devices and kitchen ware high and far from his reach when he was out of her site. Little Matty with his penchant for finding a new hat to wear every time she saw him was a quiet little four year old but she knew for all his quiet and some what clingy demeanor he was always getting into trouble and had a mischievous side hidden behind that adorable little face.
Babus! I dunno. You should probably just take my tablet away from me.
I just picture them all being really protective of her too, since their mom is always away at work and stuff. and and they have this little box fort/club house ala “Out of the Box” style that’s called the TARDIS and a little yellow power wheels car they call Bessie. and they the boys are almost always arguing over something or other but they all agree that they hate Rose’s boyfriend Jimmy.
No seriously stop me

This took an outrageous amount of time to finish but I’m pretty happy with it. You can see some detail shots here.

Small watercolor paintings based on screencaps from the Doctor Who episode The Empty Child (Season 1). The first two were made during lunch breaks at my work, and the last one at home.
I *love* this episode. That two-parter made me think the series was getting really good the first time I saw it.
1-The creepiest phone call since the first Silent hill game?
2-Jack Harkness “just saying hello” to Rose.
3-"Are you my mummy?"
I messed up and couldn’t find a place for Twelve, I’m sorry!! I wasn’t sure if I should do this since I have yet to see the classic Who (except for Eight), but what the heck, I really wanted to draw something like that. Doctors mosaic, yay!
