Made this at my friend’s house today.
First Pumpkin I’ve made I believe. Aside from a horrible attempt years ago.
Adipose. From Doctor Who.
Season 4 was amazing.
Artist: Alex Wer, “The Pumpkin Geek”
Two facts: I love Halloween and I love Doctor Who. So, naturally, even though it’s midterm season (and given my limited carving equipment and distaste for the insides of pumpkins), I decided to decorate two pumpkins as ultimate enemies the Doctor and a Dalek. The Dalek’s eyestalk is a wine-stopper, his buttons are painted bottle-caps, and the Doctor’s sonic is a modified highlighter.
wearableart4sale: Yes the inside is larger than the outside. It is amazing these white synthetic pumpkins. Hayley my daughter and I spent over 2 hours or even 3 hours looking in about 4 pumpkin patches looking for a “Tardis” pumpkin until we finally found one. I think we paid about “$18.00 and but then when we realized how much time we were going to put into carving the pumpkin thought, gee it will rot and be gone in a week and that is no fun… So we went to Micheal’s got a white synthetic pumpkin and did a bunch of creative carving. The “Police Box” words were challenging. We would do it differently next time for sure. We wish we had seen that gal’s pumpkin carving patterns before we had started carving our own design. Oh well. This is my first ” Tardis” attempt. Not my first pumpkin attempt. My first synthetic pumpkin I have to admit. I am a purist when it comes to Halloween, but this design was too complicated to not use a real pumpkin. Anyhow, if you like it reblog it. Hope you do. Cheers. There are 4 photos in all showing the work in progress. The 4th photo is of the original drawing. Closed doors, doors open without details inside and the details inside.

My broken cybermen pumpkin carving. Yeahhh, that would be my crazy hair popping out of the top….
None of these are mine unfortunately, but they are still awesome nonetheless.
