“Don’t you lecture me. Blue box man flying through time and space on whimsy. All I’ve got, all I’ve had for 36 years, is cold hard reality. So no, I don’t have a sonic screwdriver because I’m not off on a romp. I call it what it is, a probe. And I call my life what it is… hell.”

Amy: I got old, Rory, what did you think was going to happen?
Rory: I don’t care that you got old. I care that we didn’t grow old together.

River: “Oh, I had lessons from the very best. […] It’s a shame you were busy that day!”
snorkel: River is actually Moffat.
Day 03: Favorite quote or one liner from Doctor Who?
Oh man this one is hard. There are so many good ones.
I’m going to have to make a list. Top 5.
- “You are a perfect example of the inverse ratio between the size of the mouth and the size of the brain.” The Fourth Doctor, Pyramids of Mars (SNARK. SNARK. I LOVE SNARK. THANK YOU DOCTOR FOR SNARKING THROUGH TIME AND SPACE.)
- “Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. D’you know in 900 years of time and space, I’ve never met anyone who wasn’t important.” The Eleventh Doctor, A Christmas Carol (Pretty much the message of the entire damn show.)
- “We might die.”
“We might not.” The Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones, Smith and Jones (Martha Jones is a baller.)- “Just stay calm. You saved me, now I return the favor. Just believe in me.” Martha Jones (to the Tenth Doctor), 42 (And my heart absolutely broke. Martha Jones, you are perfect.)
- “You’re not matin’ with me, sunshine!” Donna Noble, Partners in Crime (Also every single line in this episode. And basically anything else that ever came out of Donna’s mouth. Because she’s freaking awesome.)

Day 03 - Favorite quote or one-liner
“But that would imply that in this great big scheme of gods and devils that she’s just a victim. But I’ve seen a lot of this universe. I’ve seen bad gods and fake gods, demigods and would-be gods, and out of all that, out of that whole pantheon, if I believe in one thing…just one thing…I believe in her!”

Day 03: Favorite quote or one liner from Doctor Who?
The Doctor: You look very nice in that dress, Victoria.
Victoria: Thank you. Don’t you think it’s a bit…
The Doctor: A bit short? Oh, you shouldn’t worry about that. Look at Jamie’s.
30 Days of Summer Break Doctor Who | 03 : Favorite quote or one liner from Doctor Who?
There’s always a way out.
(written by Steven Moffat, spoken by both River and Doctor in Day of the Moon & The Time of Angels)Why this one? Because it always remainds me that there is always another option, no matter how bad thing goes you’re not pushed into the wall, there’s always a way out, sometimes crazy or dangerous one, but still.
Also, I don’t think there are coincidences in Moffat actions.

Day 03: Favorite quote or one liner from Doctor Who?
(Credit for the awesome art goes to the fantastic owlett - seriously go check out her stuff because it’s wonderful)
For me, this quote sums up everything that is so amazing about Doctor Who. Even after all that the Doctor has seen an done in the big wide universe, he still believes that incredible and miraculous things can happen. No matter what you think you know about reality, sometimes impossible things just do happen and I can only hope to accept them with the same grace and joy as the Doctor.

Day 03 - What’s your favorite quote or one liner from Doctor Who?
“I am and always will be the optimist, the hoper of far-flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams.” - The Eleventh Doctor, S06E06: The Almost People

“Rose… before I go, I just want to tell you: you were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And do you know what?” I think parting lines from the Doctor are really important. This is my favorite. David Tennant’s “I don’t want to go.” summed up the feelings of people watching, but it was SO. SAD. This line, however, does so well in helping us say goodbye to Christopher Eccleston. It’s such a joyous line, and it warms my heart and at the same time shatters it.
Day 03: Favorite quote or one liner from Doctor Who?
Because of course I couldn’t pick just one:
The Doctor: Oooh!! A big flashy lighty thing. I love big flashy lighty things. Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Well, not actually, but give me time. And a crayon.
[from A Christmas Carol]*or*
The Doctor: She’s a woman and she’s the TARDIS.
Amy: Did you wish really hard?
[from The Doctor’s Wife]
