Doctor Who: Series 6
Reblogging the video we reblogged earlier this week because Neil Gaiman blogged it and that makes us happy.
Just in case you are thinking, “What would Neil Gaiman say if someone stuck a camera in his face on the set of the Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me Special and asked what his favourite Doctor Who moments of 2011 were?”. Now you can find out.
WARNING. I look sort of rumpled.
Me, Steven Moffat and Richard Curtis (who was there to see the final edits of Vincent and the Doctor) at the Doctor Who offices. I am folding over my script and trying to hold my fingers so you can’t see the title (which, at that point, was BIGGER ON THE INSIDE).
When I originally put this up as a Twitpic, it had the caption Who are these three middle aged men? Dear God, what are they plotting? Can no one save us?
My entry for the BBC America Halloween Costume Contest—me as Idris from “The Doctor’s Wife”.
(The official Doctor Who Tumblr reblogged a photo of this costume while it was still in progress—this is the final result!)

Reblogging for great justice.
All the deets on the BBC America Halloween Costume Contest (#HalloWHOeen) over here. You have until October 18th to enter!
Just a few of the significant instances where we have heard the TARDIS’s Cloister Bell.
30 DAYS OF SUMMER BREAK DOCTOR WHO - DAY 24
24. What is your most memorable Rory death scene?
During “The Doctor’s Wife.” Because that was seriously disturbing.
(In-progress Idris costume.)
Still sort of shaking and crying in amazement over this.

Amy: ‘Look at you pair. It’s always you and her, isn’t it? Long after the rest of us have gone.A boy and his box off to see the universe.’
The Doctor : ‘Why do you say that as if it’s a bad thing? But honestly, it’s the best thing there is.’
