That’s the one.
Save ALL the Amys!
If you haven’t seen ‘The Girl Who Waited’ DO NOT WATCH THIS. In fact, do not read any more of this post after this sentence. Stop. Now. We said stop.
Learn the inside story about Karen Gillan’s remarkable transformation into ‘Old Amy’ in the Tom MacRae-penned episode, from monster-movement classes to voice coaching to “ninja-style” fight sequences. See why Matt Smith calls her performance “one of the greatest… to date” and Steven Moffat say s “it’s an immaculate piece of acting.”
‘He always leaves you’
It’s one of the best performances she’s turned in while she’s been on Doctor Who. You know, because she makes very subtle choices about the older Amy. And you feel so sorry for her, because she’s clinging on to her youth somehow. She does something very interesting with her eyes and her voice. I think it’s a very intelligent, mature performance from Karen. It’s exciting, it’s a brilliantly stylized episode anyway, and has great style. And she comes up trumps. Well done, Kaz, you rocked it, dude.
Amy in Wonderland
Push them onto Rory’s
You’re asking me to defy destiny, causality, the nexus of time itself for a boy?

One of the great treasures of the universe.
This episode was so beautiful. My favorite episode this series and one of my favorites in the whole revival.
