YESSSSSS
I HAVE CONVERTED ANOTHER WHOVIAN!!!!
Lauren I am so proud of you. I always knew you were the most awesome of all my friends.
They are for those of us with Photoshop or GIMP or Aviary OR CRAYONS(!) as well.
Ok, if you aren’t familiar with the news about Tumblr’s recently introduced terms of service, that title might just seem bizarre. We suggest checking out this link. When you’re done with that…
We luuuuuuuurve coloring books! Especially b/c we can have SO MUCH FUN with them in Photoshop or crayons or GIMP or Aviary (the latter two are free.) Which is apparently what the BBC Doctor Who site intended:
Stuck for stuff to do over the Easter Holidays? Then grab our brand new Colouring In packs! Pick from either the Monster Pack (featuring a selection of your favourite aliens) or choose instead to bring the Doctor, Amy and Rory to life in our special Heroes pack.
Just in case that isn’t enough we’ve just added all our Doctor Who masks, posters, stories, games and much more to the Fun and Games section of the site. So if you need a Doctor Who fix, why not download a few masks and invite some friends around to play Doctor in the House or just relax into the holidays with a great story.
Go forth and color and edit!
One of us may be the Doctor some day. In a couple decades one of the Whovians on Tumblr may get to play a regeneration of the Doctor.

And he’s cool with it. ;)
Steven Moffat shouts out Whovians on Tumblr. He says to keep up the gifs and theories and memes.

Let me just sit here with popcorn, my finger on F5 and let the show begin.

So we’ve started working on a BBC America Tumblr blog. It’s still in “beta” which means it’s not all that we think it can be yet.
While it’ll feel more officially ‘official’ than the Official Doctor Who Tumblr, it’s all with a purpose. We hope to use it to provide better fanservice — exclusive content, special announcements, updates on programming changes, and most important to us, answering viewer questions and concerns via the Ask.
As some of you know, we’ve already been doing some of this since the beginning, following the bbc america Tumblr tag and stepping in to answer questions and address problems with the channel when we can.
Sometimes it means passing on your feedback when something makes you unhappy, other times it means helping get your TARDIS t-shirt order through at BBCAmericaShop. Sometimes it means letting the producers know when something makes you smile.
If you watch BBC America, please follow the BBC America Tumblr and give us your feedback (we’ll be opening up messaging soon.) It’s going to take us some time to get up and running full steam but we’re comfortable with this if you are. We want to make sure that we get it right.
Cheers.
-Us.
There’s been an increase of it on my dashboard, or I’m just noticing it more.
Huh.

Doctors casually hi-fiving on your dashboard.
Might cause temporal disruption.
Oh whovians, tubmblr would be so boring without you.
Give yourselves a round of applause!

So, since I’m now new to the fandom, I need more Doctor Who blogs to follow. Reply or reblog this and I shall follow as many as I can!
In one day we’ve gone from #Not-On-The-List to #19! Ahead of us are several One Direction sites, Miley Cyrus dot biz, The Justin Bieber Crew, and the Twitter account for Demi Lovato Brasil.
While it would be nice to win, the more important thing is that you generated tons of tweets explaining all the reasons why we should be nominated.
And yes, they’re all true.
We gave you a kidney. We bring bananas to parties. We supply endless supplies of jelly babies. We bedazzled your Ugg boots. We walked 500 miles and 500 more.
Sadly, we’re not returning your pet armadillo that we’re holding hostage. He’s teaching us to do that cool rolling up thing so we have somewhere to hide when we’re feeling awkward at parties.

Cheers.
And thus our livetumblring of Doctor Who Series 6 + the specials comes to an close….
SOOOO SAAAAADDDD!
But these are happy creys. We’ve said it before and hopefully proven it during every break — we aren’t going anywhere. We have GINORMOUS plans for 2012.

The new season of Doctor Who will premiere in Autumn 2012 (that’s Opposite-Autumn for you southern hemisphere folks.) That gives us just enough time to launch our Nerdfighter Whovian World Takeover Plan for All of 2012 Or At Least Until Moffat Launches Series 7.

First off, we’ll be tumblring all throughout 2012 with Doctor Who news, events, fanart, reblogs of your stuff and exclusive content from here within the mothership TARDIS.

Second, we want to figure out how to take the amazing Doctor Who Tumblr community IRL. What that means yet? We’re not sure but we’re think Doctor Who + Tumblr Whovian meetups around the Doctor Who Convention in Cardiff and SD Comic-Con could be cool. Maybe even meetups at other DW related cons/events in 2012 as well. Maybe? What do you think?
Additionally, We’re going to be playing the Doctor Who ‘Worlds in Time’ MMO Game a bunch.

And we’ll keep hosting challenges and giving away some fantastic Doctor Who gear in return for you showing us your creative side. (That was fun.)

So yeah. Thanks so much for joining us for all of the livetumblring and reblogging and general awesome fandomosity that is your absolutely fantastic selves. We’ve said it before and you’ve proven it all year long: you are the best fandom there is.

So keep posting, keep tagging, keep following and we’ll keep doing the things we do to make you not unfollow. Words. Order. Grammar. Whatever.
